USP first: Pre-rigged Soft Olio Moustache 18 baits give instant, lifelike presentation with soft, scented material and a ready-to-fish hooklink, so you fish faster and more effectively.
Overview: The Rapala Soft Olio Moustache 18 Pre-Rigged is a purpose-made soft bait rig for anglers who want a natural, mobile hookbait without the fuss of tying and finishing. Each bait comes pre-rigged to a short, strong hooklink and ready-to-attach loop or swivel. The bait body is soft yet resilient. It moves in the water with a realistic wobble and subtle vibration. The material takes up oils and liquids well so it holds scent and attraction. The moustache tail gives extra action and flash that draws attention from nearby fish. These rigs suit a variety of tactics from margin work to open-water spots where a small, active bait is needed.
Chartreuse — bright, high-visibility colour to spark reaction takes.
USP first: Chartreuse gives instant visual attraction and high contrast, ideal for stained water or low light when you need a reaction bite.
Overview:
Bright, eye-catching colour that stands out on the drop.
Soft Olio material still gives lifelike movement.
Pre-rigged for fast swapping at the bank.
Works well to provoke reaction or curiosity takes.
Best uses:
Stained water, low light and murky conditions.
When you need to draw attention in a busy swim.
Short-range and margin spots where contrast helps.
Situations calling for reaction-style presentations.
Tips:
Combine with dark backdrops to maximise silhouette.
Use sparingly where fish are very pressured to avoid suspicion.
Add a small scent boost for extra pull.
Who it suits:
Anglers needing a high-visibility, reaction-style bait.
Those fishing murky waters or overcast sessions
Why buy pre-rigged Olio Moustache 18:
Saves time — rig comes ready to fish straight from the pack.
Consistent, factory-tied knots and hook alignments for reliable hookup performance.
Perfect for anglers who swap baits often or need quick changes at the bank.
Lifelike soft material that moves naturally, even on the drop.
Holds liquids and oils well to increase attraction in the water.
Key features:
Soft Olio material designed for realistic movement.
Moustache tail for extra action and visual appeal.
Pre-rigged to a short strong hooklink with tidy knot work.
Ready loop or swivel for immediate attachment to your main leader or quick-change system.
Small, subtle profile to fool wary and pressured fish.
Available in multiple colourways to match water and baiting conditions.
Performance and tactics:
Use in margins where small, active presentations work best.
Excellent for spot work and pre-baited areas where natural movement entices inspection.
Works well on light leads or inline systems where subtlety matters.
Ideal for drop-shot, short-range presentations or finesse approaches on pressured waters.
Combine with a small PVA bag or spod to place a tiny bed of feed and present the rig in a baited patch.
Rigging and use:
Clip or loop to your leader or quick-change swivel.
Cast or place into the chosen area and let settle.
Keep hooklink short to maintain natural action and quick hook bite.
Replace rigs after heavy contact or if the hook point blunts.
Use small amounts of booster or oil on the bait for added attraction.
Care and storage:
Store pre-rigged baits flat in a cool, dry box to avoid deformation.
Keep different colours separated to avoid staining or scent transfer.
Rinse in fresh water after dirty swims and dry before packing away.
Replace used rigs rather than re-tying to keep reliability high.
Why colour choice matters:
Match the bait colour to the water clarity and baited mix for best results.
Natural tones work well on clear waters and pressured venues.
Brighter, high-contrast options can trigger reaction takes in low light or on busy swims.
Colour notes (available variants):
Kingston — natural, deep tone with subtle flake for realistic look in mixed beds. Great in clear to stained water where a natural imitative bait is preferred.
Ghost — pale, translucent tone for very subtle, natural presentation. Works well in clear, pressured waters when a low-profile bait is needed.
Butternut — warm, brown-amber shade that looks natural over silt and gravel. Good for autumn tactics and when soiled grounds are present.
Chartreuse — bright, high-visibility colour for attracting attention in stained water and low light. Useful when you need a reaction strike.
Cappuccino — mid-brown coffee tone that offers balance between natural and visible. Good all-round choice for mixed beds and variable light.
Black Widow — deep dark tone with strong silhouette. Use when you want a clear outline in bright conditions or across weed edges.
Who this is for:
Anglers who want fast, reliable, ready-to-fish soft baits.
Those fishing pressured waters who need a subtle, lifelike presentation.
Session anglers who change rigs often and value consistent factory-tied performance.
Match and pleasure anglers who fish margins, spots and tight features.

Choose the colour to suit the conditions and fish with confidence — quick to fit, highly mobile in the water and built to trigger takes where subtle presentation counts.
