The Okuma Custom Black Feeder Reel is purpose-built for this style of fishing – no gimmicks, no unnecessary extras – just solid, dependable performance.   Key Features & Specifications   Feature Detail Gear Ratio 4.5:1 Ball Bearings 7 + 1 Roller Max Drag ~8kg Weight ~460g Line Retrieve ~92cm per crank Spool Options Shallow & Deep (included) Shallow Spool Capacity 0.20mm / 150m Deep Spool Capacity 0.25mm / 200m Handle Machined aluminium, foldable Drag Type Fast front drag       Why the Okuma Custom Black Feeder is a Match Winner   🎯 Precision Casting – Hit the Same Spot Every Time   The shallow spool design paired with Okuma’s precision line lay technology means your line flows off the reel effortlessly, allowing you to hit the same clip point time after time. Perfect for tight bait presentation and accurate feeding.   💪 Power Without Bulk At just 460g, it’s light enough to cast all day without fatigue, but the gearing and drag system give it the muscle to pull in big fish and retrieve heavy feeders from distance.   ⚡ Fast Drag System   From free-running to fully locked in just a twist, the quick drag system gives you instant control over hard-fighting fish.   🔄 Versatile with Two Spools Included Switch between braid and mono in seconds. The shallow spool is ideal for fine-diameter braid or light mono, while the deeper spool can take heavier line for bigger fish or rivers with stronger flow.     Where It Excels   Commercial Match Lakes – Method feeder for carp, F1s, and tench. Natural Lakes & Reservoirs – Cage feeders for bream, skimmers, and hybrids. Rivers – Handles heavy feeders for chub and barbel in moderate flow. Against premium brands like Shimano or Daiwa, this reel often matches or beats performance but at a far more wallet-friendly price.   Real-World Angler Feedback   From club match regulars to casual weekend anglers, feedback is consistently positive:   “Casting is a dream – no line twist, no tangles.” “The quick drag is a game changer when a big carp bolts.” “Perfect for both braid and mono, love having the spare spool.” “Feels like a much more expensive reel.”   Why It’s Better Than Other Brands at This Price While Shimano and Daiwa make excellent feeder reels, they can be over double the price of the Custom Black Feeder without offering dramatically better performance for most anglers. Okuma reels have earned a reputation for:   Durability – built to last years, even with heavy use. Value for money – high-end features without the inflated price tag. Feeder-focused design – every part of this reel serves a purpose.   Top Benefits at a Glance   ✅ Shallow spool for braid & accurate casting ✅ Deep spool for heavier line setups ✅ Lightweight & comfortable for long sessions ✅ Smooth, powerful retrieve ✅ Spare spool included as standard ✅ Robust drag system for controlling strong fish ✅ Sleek all-black design looks great on any rod   Why Buy From Us  Buying from us means you’re not just getting a great reel – you’re getting peace of mind:   Fast Dispatch – Most orders sent the same working day.
