Matrix Flexi Rod Butt Grip — the flexible, purpose-built butt end grip for Matrix Flexi Rods that gives you confident control on every cast. An uncomplicated upgrade for anglers who want a steadier, more comfortable feel at the rod butt.
Compatibility: Designed for Matrix Flexi Rods to ensure a secure, reliable fit.
Design: Flexible butt grip that balances comfort with control on long sessions.
Function: Adds a dedicated rod-end grip to improve handling and casting feel.
Subtlety: Lightweight and unobtrusive so it doesn't interfere with balance or action.
With the Flexi Rod Butt Grip fitted, you’ll notice a more secure hold at the rod’s end, helping you keep line control during the crucial moments of lift, set, and reel. The flexible profile works with your grip, bending slightly as your hand moves, which can help you maintain a natural hand position rather than gripping tightly to compensate for slip. The result is smoother transitions between casting and reeling, so your rod responds as you intend. Angling from the shore on a breezy day? The grip stays in place as your wrists bend with the rod, helping you keep your angle and deliver accurate casts into the wind. On a boat or when wading, where space is tight and movement is quick, the end grip gives you a solid point to grab and stabilise your stance. In wet conditions or when wearing gloves, the butt grip helps reduce slipping so you can set the hook quickly and confidently. For longer sessions, the focused grip end can feel more comfortable over repeated motions, helping you maintain technique without distraction. Designed specifically for Matrix Flexi Rods, it preserves the rod’s intended balance and action while adding a tactile point of control at the butt. In practice, it’s a straightforward upgrade that lets you focus on the fish rather than fiddling with your grip, supporting steadier casts and quicker, more controlled hook-ups.
